Things to do before you leave

 

ü      Wash, dry linen and towels & put away. (laundry soap, washer & dryer are in garage)

 

ü      Remake the beds. There is an extra set of linens in the closets in each of the bedrooms. Futon sheets are kept in downstairs hallway closet.

 

ü      Wash and put away dishes and clean kitchen.

 

ü      Clean bathrooms.  Be sure to replace towels.

 

ü      Furnace is on a timer. Instructions on thermostat.

 

ü      Gas stove is operated by a switch located on the top right corner on the back of the stove.  A fan will automatically turn on after stove heats up (30 minutes).  The fan remains on for additional 30 minutes after switching the stove off.  A pilot light is visible when the stove is not switched on.  Please turn stove off before leaving.

 

ü      Remove food from refrigerator.

 

ü      Place trash in the outside container (directly east of the garage).  Replace trash liners in the inside garbage cans.

 

ü      Sweep floors. (broom and dust pan are in garage) Built-in vacuum outlet for sweeping kitchen floor is under the sink. Vacuum is available in the living room closet if needed.

 

ü      Turn all lights off.  Close all windows.

 

ü       Lock the front and back sliding door.
